Maxsafe Taggrip Usage Guide

Use it Anywhere Like a Transportation Card!

What is Taggrip?
Taggrip is a rechargeable card that can be used at all partner stores, just like a transportation card.

Use Maxsafe to Tap and Pay!
Simply tap and pay for public transportation or other services, just like using a transportation card.

Convenient Recharge, Balance Check, and Recovery
Using the "Two-Way Communication" app, you can easily recharge, check your balance, or recover it. (This is also available at convenience stores.)
If there’s an issue with your balance, it will automatically be checked and recovered when you use the card through the app. (Recharge data is automatically transmitted.)

Loss/Refund Assurance Service
By registering for the loss/refund service via the "Two-Way Communication" app, you can ensure your balance is protected in case of loss and suspend usage. Refunds are also possible after verification.

Basic Benefits – Don’t Forget to Register!

Tax Deduction
You can register through the "Two-Way Communication" app to apply for tax deductions.

Discounts for Children/Teenagers
Register your date of birth at the point of purchase or through the seller’s platform to receive discounts for public transportation fares applicable to children and teenagers.

User Guide

• Taggrip is a rechargeable T-money transportation card.

• It can be used at all transportation merchants nationwide where T-money cards are accepted.

Features of Taggrip

• Patent Office: Registered with patented technology.

• EZL: Completed nationwide infrastructure tests for T-money (cashbee).

• Griptok: Manufactured in Korea with precise craftsmanship.

How to Recharge Taggrip

• The recharging and usage methods are the same as gift transportation cards.
  (Rechargeable at subway station kiosks, convenience stores, or via mobile T-money app.)

• When recharging through the T-money app or by card payment, a 3% service fee will apply for prepaid cards.
  No service fee will apply for account transfers.

• When recharging through mobile telecommunication billing, a 6% service fee will apply.

• Before use, please confirm there are no external defects or abnormalities in the product after purchase and recharge accordingly.
  (If there are any issues with the product, please contact customer service before use.)

Usage Precautions

• If you use multiple transportation products simultaneously, discounts may not be applied during transfers.

• For Android phones, ensure that NFC is enabled before tagging your transportation card or making payments. (If NFC is enabled, it may interfere with the transportation card payment due to signal overlap.)

  Check NFC activation status on your phone settings screen.

• Avoid subjecting the product to impact or disassembling it, as internal electronic components may be damaged.

• When making a payment, always place the back of your phone close to the reader for at least 3 seconds.
  (If you use a case, ensure it does not block signal recognition between the electronic chip and the reader.)

• For iPhones, mobile cashbee (app) service is available for iOS 13 or later versions.
  (Since NFC functionality is built into iPhones, NFC is supported from iOS 13 and later.)

How to Register for Child/Youth Discounts

• Child fares apply to ages 6–12, and youth fares apply to ages 13–18.

• To register for child/youth fares, visit a convenience store (e.g., 7-Eleven, CU, GS25) and register your date of birth. Once registered, transportation discounts will be applied automatically. (If unregistered, regular adult fares will be charged.)

Income Deduction Benefits Guide

• By registering as a member on the EZL website (www.myEZL.com) and registering your card, you can apply for income deduction. Once the application is completed, you will be eligible for income deduction benefits for usage after the application.

• You can check the registered card number on the back of the tag (16 digits excluding the "영문 B" section).

Balance Transfer/Refund

• If you wish to transfer your balance to a new product, please visit a nearby convenience store and request to transfer your balance to a new product.
  (This is possible only if the remaining balance is 20,000 KRW or less.)

• For normal products, refunds of balances are possible except for product purchases. (For inquiries, please contact customer service.)
  However, refunds are not available for damaged or lost products or products that have been recharged.

EZL Charging Station App Guide

• After downloading the EZL Charging Station app, you can use NFC to register your card, enabling you to check your balance and recharge.

<How to Register on iPhone/Android>

1. Download the EZL Charging Station app and complete identity verification.

2. After launching the app, place your card near the NFC reader on the back of your phone to register it.

3. Once the card registration is complete, you can check your balance and recharge.
